I'm creating a script that syncs files from the different computers I use to a FTP server. Trying to compare files is becoming a problem. My compare looks like this: sync: 31-Mar-2000/17:53 > src: 31-Mar-2000/16:38:40-8:00 Note the -8:00 on the src. That's the time-zone data. Any thoughts on how to either eliminate the time-zone data on one or to include it on the other?
