hi all
can rebol be set up to strip a set of files a specific way...i know i keep
hearing about regular expressions etc on linux/beos but i'm just trying to
strip these files i have downloaded and get them back to this
CASINO EMPLOYEES GOLF CLUB Club Name: Casino Employees Golf Club Club
Number: 50401 Postal Address: 7 Roxby Street Postal City: PARAFIELD GARDENS
Postal State: SA Postcode: 5107 Address: City: State: SA
these are seperated by tabs and then end with a return so i can put them
into my database etc
the origianl file before it was stripped was full of html but all pages i'm
trying to strip are all basically the same template ...i just used a
windoze program editplus which is quite good...but i have to strip html and
then search and replace this and that etc which i know is the slow way and
i can only do it one at a time....
i think if i can identify the html that is common to each then i could
those but i'm sure there is an easy to parse all the files at once and
concatenate the results into one file!
i would like to be able to merge all 100 html pages i have and run a script
on them is there any way to merge a whole folder of html pages??

and..............
i am also looking at getting a bunch of files
http://www.teetime.com.au/club_pics/qld/ - base directory
http://www.teetime.com.au/club_pics/qld/Arundel/
http://www.teetime.com.au/club_pics/qld/Babinda/ - folder inside the qld
folder which is the variable that changes.. i suppose the html file is
index.html.

is it possible to suck out every web page thats in the qld folder and it
also grabs everything inside that folder also..if you know what i mean
so the above would get every folder inside qld but would also get the html
files within Arundel and Babinda etc. it would be impossible to do them one
by one.
many thanks
jason
