pure dialects are good for reading file with format like pascal record or
 c struct.
block dialects are good for pure "jargon" where you can use special
keywords in the context of your application .
think about it: you can define the keyword , the syntax and grammar of the
context it's really one of the most powerfull feature of the rebol
familly.
i agree it may be hard to grasp, try to think how your compiler read your
program text and translate it.
it's like the concept of list once you really get it you can do 10 more
thinngs more efficiently with rebol.

i stick with the word "jargon" by the way because linguists define dialect
as a spoken only language, no written media, only oral.
i doubt our computer can handle it.
carl knows that , i heard him using the world jargon before in order to
explain what dialects are.

anyway, he is right pointing dialecting as a main advantage.
