Hi,
there are cross-platform issues involved imho. I am playing with parallel port
(using /Command version and library calls). Even on WIintel the situation is
terrible. Those PC folks really came with standards and add Windoze to it and
you have to support xy solutions. So, don't expect for e.g. direct port access
will work under NT/2K. You have to decide upon OS architecture ....
