Yes, but how well is the question. This would have hardcoded into REBOL to be
worthwhile, although
only minor changes. It would be a good deal thinner than most other programming
languages, but at
least provide a thin layer of protection. I am sure RT has the scheme already, but it
is my guess
that they want to keep things open source for the time being. Why? For one it makes
REBOL is
easier to learn when you can look at other peoples code. Another big point is its
also simpler to
deal with only text REBOL, instead of the interoperability issues that would be
desired with both
types out there.
