Hi rishi.

Hmmm, somethings not quite right here i think,
i just redownloaded rebol22.tar.gz gunziped it, tar xvf`ed it

# ./rebol
./rebol[3]: syntax error: `(' unexpected

#

loaded up Photon debugger , as i`v seen 2 progs seem perfectly
fine but not actually run from the shell ./whatever, but running
them through photon debugger started them up.

loaded this rebol into it and ran it
this came back in debugger window:

> file /fs/hd0-qnx4/rebol
"/fs/hd0-qnx4/rebol": not in executable format: File format not recognized

(the qnx4 bit above just means i also installed another RTP from cd as a partition
after i`d unstalled the pre beta we in Phx were useing as a binary file
bootable from windas)

it`s got its executable flag set, that was my first thought so i checked,
funny thing is, its got rwxrwxr-x 257,803 *rebol as seen in the Dopus4
linux port called worker1.33 (way better than useing xterm LOL, Get it from
qnxstart or freshmeat)

but says *rebol unknown type, right above it i have a file lc with exactly
the same flags set and it says lc ELF executable file.

it would seem that the rebol files been wacked somewere , looks like
a new one needs putting up.

booting back to windas, as i cant do email without my THOR and thats
running in WinUAE for now, 2500 died again the other day 8{ , anyone
fancy having a go at porting UAE to native Photon or already done it
PLEASE give me a copy ASAP.

i did manage to ./configure make, the linux uae0.7.6.tar.gz
last night but thats way to slow going through Xphoton even running
in piccasso4 mode.

did i say i`m not a programmer LOL, but i`ll try anything to get
a useable UAE for RTP use with useable typeing speed and good screen
refreshrate so i can stay in RTP while i do my THOR email/news.

we have a person working on the special JIT-UAE, but its slow going
he tells us, please port if you can find and releave me of my pain <G>.

i now return you to our rebol`er topics <click>.
