This is great. I convinced my ucsd cognitive science proffessor to let me use rebol
instead of c. If I convert his libraries, he may even be interested in using it for
the class (little does he know that most of his library functionality is built into
rebol!). I think he is looking for alternatives to c since most people in cogsci do
not have programming backgrounds and have trouble with details of c such as i/o. Prof
would rather have students focusing on concepts of class rather than details of
programming language.
I really think rebol should attack educational market. If they don't, some other
language will take hold (such as python).
Also great that rebol manual was just released. Now I plan to study this language in
detail...
