[TB-303.org] energy flash noise

Hey fellas,  what piece was it again that Joey Beltram used on Energy Flash for the  "wowwow, wow,, woow, woow"  sound ??  Was it a 202, 505 ?? I can't remember, and I apologize for my lack of familiarity with the gear.   Any help is appreciated.   I assume we all like that type of sound.  Almost like a bass buzzer, alarm kind of sound, and squelchy.  If anyone has heard "Tone Exploitation" by Nighttripper, a similar sound, but what instrument is that??  What other units, can make that type of sound (other than my 303)??.   I heard some samples of an Octave Cat (or Kitten) making similar sounds.  I am interested in more of this type of slightly less common analog gear.  Just not sure at what affordable point to start (of course I started with a 303, for those kinds of analogue sounds, yet it's not necessarily affordable).   If anyine is familiar with the Octave Cat, is it really better than an ARP Odyssey?  Well I should first ask if anyone has an ARP Odyssey ??(a little more common) If so how is it ??   Other than the obvious newer gear, what are some other good units to check out for such types of bass tones, mid-bass alarms, bass buzzing, tonal bass, etc.  (tenor saxaphone bass??)   Thanks fellas...   Dave
