I own and regularly use a TB303 & 606 bought off Don Wher's desk (owner of original SF "Music City") when he opened the box on Thursday morning, one week before they were introduced at NAM. Over many years I somehow morphed myself into the business of making technology invisible to seasoned performers and professional players for whom I serve as a hybrid tech-business-creative collaborator/coach/manger.
I Followed the l i n e link from demo3 on Freebie/Lush download page because I was impressed enough to be curious. ---- Was even more impressed with web site.
l i n e is one of few sites that ever grabbed my "rewind" attention as much as the original DBDDigital opening page a few years ago. They spent a fortune. What the Line site has powerfully in common is fundamental design judgment.
l i n e Is my new favorite web communication example to show clients for contrast with so much white noise & "wiggly" business that musicians get talked into by ex-midi geeks selling Macromedia & Web programming.
Even better, l i n e is now on my (very) short example list of what "less is more" means (in any context).
