Yeah, my guess is that it will work.  I used to have a Roland-2000, and it would trigger my old MC-505.   But you probably need to get a box with Midi In and Sync24 out.  So the reverse of what you have.   Problem with the Roland-2000, is that it's bpm counter is not all that accurate, so you might not get a perfect beat match between the 303 and the record you are playing.   Morgan.
