You guys are absolutely right, thanks for setting me back on track ;) So what now? Stick to writing grooves within the 303 and then export them via a Kenton controller to Cubase in realtime?

devilfish IS beautifull gear ;-)
no way on earth you can compare a fr-777 to a devilfish, even when the
fr-777 is under tb-303 sequencing.
the devilfish is something really really special, the soundclips on the
website only show a very small range of possibilities, it is capable of much
more also the most beautifull subtle organic sounds etc.
i agree with you on bypassing the 303 sequencer, why do it?? if you want
longer sequences than 16 steps just program a track out of patterns. hey you
can even play the little keyboard in realtime :)
