Yes, it's a real shame. This world has just got so commercial lately. Before it was "hey, I got my 303 mem mod working, I'll share it on the internet", now it's "hey, I got my 303 mem mod working, I'll sell it on the internet". :(
This might have alot to do with companies like Doepfer. They have propably stolen every single DIY project from the net and are now making profit of other people's hard work. Now some people won't share their schematics because they don't want to be "Doepferized". >:(
Take for example Juergen Haible's amazing DIY synths: http://home.debitel.net/user/jhaible/hj.html
With his "Moog-style Modular Synthesizer" he won't publish the schematics just because of the reason above.

What on earth is wrong with people in the machine modifications business??
There are people on this planet, all grouped in one country (no names) who have the crucial information people have wanted for years regarding the TB-303 & TR-606 memory upgrade modifications.
Rather than share it with us, these people would rather keep the info secret and pocket from doing the mods themselves.
So, as you all continue to spend a fortune to send your machines to the other side of the planet, be assured that other people are working on ways of doing these memory mods, people who will be sharing the information with everybody FOR FREE. Soon come>:o)
In the mean time, i found this guy's site who's building a smart PC interface for the TB-303 and i thought i'd give him a plug and a big shout of respect for his work!! Any cries of agreement and disgust about the memory mod secrecy????
In a world of conspiricy and secrecy, it's sad that info on such joyeous machine modifications should be kept secret by people wishing to profit from them.
