Mark, I like your attitude. :)
Some people who design these hacks share all information with others but STILL make money out of it by selling kits, or installing them for people with no electronics skills. All respect to those guys: in this case, I'd rather think selling kits or installing them as helping other people, not being greedy.
One very good example of this is a DIY fuel injection controller for engines called "Megasquirt". The original authors have made a massive job designing the whole thing, but still share everything, and still make money out of selling the kits. This has been an excellent strategy, because nowadays Megasquirt has been converted to work with a huge number of engines by huge community of enthusiasts, which wouldn't have been possible to do by just two guys. This equals to more sells = more money. And everybody's happy. :)

Like i said in my posting to TB-303.org's mailing list yesterday, people deserve to know this information rather than have to send their machines half way round the world to pay you to do it for them. Yesterday i vowed to work this memory hack out, and i will. I will work it out for myself without you or Robin and once fully operational and tested, i will be devoting a large website to GIVING AWAY AND PUBLICISING the info FREE, I PROMISE.
None of this was on my agenda, i have a lot of projects on the go myself, but after your ill mannered response to my cry for help/info, i have now made it a mission to do as i've stated above. I don't care how many units or pieces of memory it takes, this has just become one of my priorities.
Mungo, I don't wish to hear from you again, unless you have any worthwhile information to help the rest of the world mod the memory in their machines.
