Hey Shawn, I checked out "Our Heartz Still Beat" from your website. I think
you have some good ideas here and the adrenaline-factor was well met, but I
thought some of the production could use a little work. The composition
totally rocked man. The intro was heavy and phat as hell. I thought when
the main riff kicked in, though, you kind of lose some energy because the
song (1) gets quiter and (2) the pad/strings sound you used is kinda weak. The patch itself isn't too bad, but it definitely needs some hi and mid range eq boost along with some compression and stereo widening. The lyrics were awesome and the vocals were very well produced and sung. Overall, I really enjoyed listing to it! I hope my comments help!

I'am from Detroit, MI (actually a suburb of 'd-town' but you could care less, I'am sure.) Our 'electronic scene' isn't what it used to be in the days of Carl Cox, Juan Atkins, and Ritchie (even though I know some of them are not from here.)
Anyways, I'am more into the hardcore/metal scene. Like alot of scenes in major cities, people are cool...and some people are fuck-faces, ya know?
