I hate to be the bearer of bad news, even with 20/20 vision, you're not
going to get a genuine 303 sound out of a computer. :)
The closest thing I've seen is Audiorealism's Bassline plugin, this is very
fairly priced for what it does, and can also be configured with an external
controller for many of the knobs. I believe you can set an option to play it
from an external sequencer, however it's the internal sequencer of a 303
that makes it sound so unique and fantastic.
The only freeware is Rebirth, which just this month became freeware.
Rebirth however doesn't sound nearly as bright or funky as a real 303 would.
If I were you I'd just save up for the real thing, it's totally worth it!

Subject: [TB-303.org] software emulation
from TB-303 resources mailing list
-------[ http://www.tb-303.org ] ----------------------
Hi!
I'm a blind home-musician, who likes techno/trance/hardcore/...
I'm searching a software emulation of the famous fat tb303 wich is
accessable for blind, cause many of these emulations are very graphical
and so useless for the blind.
Please give me a suggestion, considering only one condition: as yet I
don't sell my music, I accept only freeware.
With best wishes
your friend from the dark!
