http://www.clihc2005.org/ Os adjuntamos la llamada a la participacin de este importante evento. Un saludo, -- Nacho Puell http://www.cadius.org --- CLIHC 05 invites the HCI community from academia and industry to submit work in all categories of participation for publication and presentation at CLICH2005. Full papers are the main category to disseminate complete research results. CLIHC follows the usual international academic standards to evaluate and disseminate full papers. Many of the research issues in the agenda for the field of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) relate to the culture, language and work practices for specific communities. Not only should we reach for technology that can be used and appreciated by the widest range of people, but also for means to promote inter-cultural exchange and cross-fertilization among people with diverse backgrounds and needs. CLIHC is open to all topics and disciplines related to HCI, such as interactive systems development, methodologies and tools, evaluation reports, theories and models. This document explains how interested people can submit full papers to be considered for publication and presentation in the conference. Please feel free to share and distribute this text with your colleagues and other interested persons. Thank you for your collaboration. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- CALL FOR PAPERS CLIHC'05 Interaction for Inclusion http://www.clihc2005.org <http://www.clihc2005.org/> Congreso Latinoamericano de Interaccion Humano-Computadora Congresso Latino-americano de Interacao Humano-Computador Latin American Conference on Human-Computer Interaction Cuernavaca, Mexico, October 23-26, 2005 KEYNOTE SPEAKERS: Paul Dourish University of California, Irvine http://www.ics.uci.edu/~jpd/ <http://www.ics.uci.edu/%7Ejpd/> Clarisse Sieckenius de Souza - Pontificia Universidad Catolica do Rio http://www-di.inf.puc-rio.br/~clarisse// <http://www-di.inf.puc-rio.br/%7Eclarisse/> ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Important Dates: PAPERS: English-Writing Mentoring Deadline February 4th, 2005 Submission Deadline: April 15th, 2005 Acceptance Notification: June 11th, 2005 Camera-ready Deadline: June 30th, 2005 POSTERS: Submission Deadline: May 15th, 2005 Acceptance Notification: June 18th, 2005 Camera-ready Deadline: June 30th, 2005 WORKSHOPS & TUTORIALS: Letter of Intent: February 13th, 2005 Proposal Submissions: April 3rd, 2005 Acceptance Notification: May 3rd, 2005 Workshop-Paper Submission: June 18th, 2005 Workshop-Paper Acceptance: July 15th, 2005 Workshop-Paper Camera-ready Deadline: July 30th, 2005 ----------------------------------------------------------------------- CONFERENCE CHAIRS: Cecilia Baranauskas, Unicamp Brazil, Oscar Mayora Ibarra, ITESM Campus Cuernavaca, Mexico PROGRAM CHAIRS: Manuel A. Workshops and Tutorials: Workshops may focus on research or applied HCI topics. Submissions addressing basic or applied research in HCI areas are encouraged. Other type of perspectives will be also welcomed if they have a strong HCI component, for example HCI in education, professional practices in HCI, etc. Tutorials are one of the best ways of conveying introductory and advanced instruction on specific topics to an interested audience.
