Have used #port and #starboard as 2 columns and for another project, #recto
/ #verso.  For a three part image I have used #triptych.  Not too funny but
a bit different and more memorable than the usual gubbins!

More of an in-joke, but my colleague (padwan learner when it comes to 
web design and standards) who recently started with us is called Dafydd. 
In his honour, I've changed the ID of the navigation (and related CSS 
rules) on one of our projects from "navbar" to "dafbar".
