Believe it or not, both the second beta and third beta were called beta 2.

Why? I don't know. www.quirksmode.org alerted me to this.

I you have beta 2 but downloaded it more than two weeks ago (before 25 March I think), chances are you don't have the latest version.

Correct, I can only find IE 7 Beta 2. However, it appears that they finally have Beta 2 available for not only Windows XP SP2 but also Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, Windows Server 2003 x64 Edition, Windows Server 2003 SP1, and Windows Server 2003 ia64 Edition. And they have unique install files for these. This had to have come about sometime in the last couple days, because when I re-downloaded the file over the weekend, it was still claiming that the beta was only available for Windows XP SP2.
