where did tiny come from? who changed the standard and why? now that there is a new "standard", how long will it take to bring the graphic software developers on board with this new "standard" and finally, how does one convert a graphics file to the tiny "standard"?
SVG Tiny is a lightweight, mobile version of SVG: <http://www.w3.org/TR/SVGMobile/> An awful lot of Opera's business comes from the mobile market, so I guess they thought they'd start there. It's simpler and easier to implement than full-cream SVG. Give them time, they'll give us complete SVG support eventually, as will Mozilla. <http://www.adobe.com/products/golive/ikivo.html> might be helpful to you.
