With regard to the subject line, it looks good to me, Elle. More a problem with usability than anything else, I guess. It is breaking on zoom too early, and the vertical nav might be better set horizontal beneath the header image(?) so it can expand without overlapping the image. Resetting to to 1em on 1.4 on the body; and, after doing so, appropriately reducing the font -size for the side bar, and the navigation (and reducing the leading of the block quote) will give your page a more contemporary look, as will punching the text contrast. Nice job. Good luck. Best, ~dL Cheers, David. Have thought about your suggestions and implemented a couple. I almost tried it with a horizontal bar but thought I might try a couple of other things first before. Anyway, what I wanted to ask is I have a problem with my vertical main navlist. It has a margin on the top that shouldn't be there. But when I add {margin-top:0;}, Safari seems to remember where the original position is and only on the first link I will get an hover effect only when my mouse hovers at the bottom of the link. If I hover on the top of the link, nothing happens. I added border to it temporarily for debugging. Does anyone have any ideas?
