Germ, that’s exactly what I was
saying. Samuel, lightbox uses over 100k of
_javascript_ – that’s pretty big for dial-up. Litebox is a much smaller option though. In general though, I find the popups=evil
argument a bit flawed. Take as an example a page which has a list of 25 cars
for sale. It makes sense not to have to load all
images just so you don’t have popups because most users will not want to
look at all 25, or wait/pay for the download of them. Grant From:

60 – 70k of _javascript_ I think. That would be about the size of one of
