ooooo - jumpy content in IE! I had this problem back when we redesigned our University homepage (though it was an IE5 only prob).
It was eventually fixed by removing a width: 100% property from a container element. I'm really sorry - I don't have too much time right now to check your code out (I will try a bit later) but this may be a startting point for you.
