I'm having problems with the layout for this page/site:

It uses absolute positioning and is modeled after this:
http://www.alistapart.com/articles/holygrail/
The layout looks great in Safari and Firefox on a my Mac.
But on Win IE6 the left gutter overlaps the first character of the
center section and there is a white/blank vertical strip on the left
edge of the window.
Can anyone give me a clue what is wrong with my 3-column layout that
it displays incorrectly in IE6?
