This can be read two ways if the client is actual customer visiting a company website I would do it as follows.
When I do a print friendly page I typically try to make it as small as possible. I remove all the advertisements other then possibly a black and white logo for the company. I also make a point of it containing telephone number and mailing address on the page as well for contact information. That contact information can be in small print contained in a company header type image. This will also remind the client where the information in the page came from as well. You are correct. Why have the advertisements there if they cannot be used on the paper. Another outlook might be why use up the clients ink resources as well to print out those multi colored images if they are useless. If the client is the person actually interested in you developing a website for them, and you were looking to show them what the site will look like prior to payment. Then you may wan to consider printing out not only copies of the pages with advertisements on them, but also showing every drop down menu in both positions. Another viable option for you might be to give them a live demo of the site off of CD-Rom, laptop, or from within a folder on your web server. Sure it does not give them a paper copy of it but it will give them personal confidence. Kevin J. With a site that has drop down menu controls by JS, is it important to make the submenu links show in print style? I feel it's not important and not needed because user who prints the page out can't click the submenu link anyway; on the other hand I feel it's important to have them show as a good reference, to let user knows how many pages and links the site has. What do you think about this? Thanks! tee ******************************************************************* List Guidelines: http://webstandardsgroup.org/mail/guidelines.cfm Unsubscribe: http://webstandardsgroup.org/join/unsubscribe.cfm Help: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ******************************************************************* ******************************************************************* List Guidelines: http://webstandardsgroup.org/mail/guidelines.cfm Unsubscribe: http://webstandardsgroup.org/join/unsubscribe.cfm Help: [EMAIL PROTECTED] *******************************************************************
