re -> I did a site, now client's client was wondering if I can update the markup I did to YUI. Very strange request to me.
agreed, if you're a wizz at css you can achieve all the same benefits that the YUI GRID CSS gives you as a headstart. But from a clients point of view - the main attraction with the YUI direction is documentation, community contributions & support, articles, updates, blogs. all that essentially for "free". so if in 18 months time your client hires a different web designer/developer to update their site they would have a LOT of valuable information at their fingertips. links for those playing along at home... http://developer.yahoo.com/yui/grids/ http://developer.yahoo.com/yui/grids/builder/ http://yuiblog.com/ http://developer.yahoo.com/yui/grids/#support all that stuff is very compelling for a client that wants good value for money. just my 2c. Pete Ottery and no i dont work for Yahoo! :) ******************************************************************* List Guidelines: http://webstandardsgroup.org/mail/guidelines.cfm Unsubscribe: http://webstandardsgroup.org/join/unsubscribe.cfm Help: [EMAIL PROTECTED] *******************************************************************
