ABC Television is looking for an experienced Online Producer to play a lead
role in developing and distributing interactive content around factual,
documentary and science related television programming. This role requires a
person with online publishing experience, editorial skills, a familiarity
with television production and an interest in emerging platforms. This
position forms part of the new Multiplatform team within ABC TV.

Selection Criteria:

1. Contemporary high-level experience in web production and content
development for new media platforms. A minimum of 3 years experience
producing websites.

2. Demonstrated ability to make a highly creative and innovative
contribution to cross-platform content conception, development and
production.

3. A strong understanding of how audiences engage with, and relate to
television brands, with an emphasis on factual and science related content.

4. Demonstrated high-level knowledge of publishing techniques and tools for
website creation, including the use of content management systems.

5. Experience with video editing and compression tools such as Adobe
Premier, Final Cut Pro, Avid and Pro Tools.
