Hallo Leute, Constant Dullaart <http://constantdullaart.com/> ist im Oktober AiR im MQ und sucht Leute die in dieser Zeit (Termin wird noch fixiert) bei seinem "Public Interfacial Gesture Salon" eine Arbeit wie folgt präsentieren wollen.
"The focus of the event will be on artworks that are always extremely public, but are almost never viewed in public. Works that are released in private, mostly in the middle of the night, and are made public with a very simple but very private interfacial gesture. Lets make this interfacial gesture public, lets view these works in public, lets release these works in public, "PUBLIC INTERFACIAL GESTURE SALON". My request is that if you have or will make any works in the following month, that would normally premiere online, to save them up and premiere them in public in this event. This means you are also asked to be physically present... There will be a computer for you to ftp your work to your server (bring a usb stick with the index page, and your passwords). After the ritual interfacial gesture of releasing the work (which will be seen by the audience), you will show the work and how it functions, perhaps with a Q&A, if you don't mind... It should be informal, but still serious enough to contextualize the work, to be open for questions, to engage in conversation. There will be a live stream available to all others that could not make it to Vienna, with live chat. During this event Chris Collins and I will present a half hour of public google document drawing, where 3 or 4 selected artists will communally draw inside a shared google document. This process will be viewed live, and during this process the audience can yell that they want to buy the current status of the drawing. An assistant will quickly make a pdf of the drawing which will be printed on a photo quality A4 immediately, and will sell for €10,- About 5 "release slots" are available, to keep the program manageable. The intention is to organize this event every 2 months internationally, if there is enough response, and people enjoy bringing this out into the public..
