Hi Joerg, from what I understand you did not load the listen profile? If
I am correct do one of the following:
For a new site, make sure you select the listen profile from the list at
the bottom of the Plone Site creation screen.
For an existing site, goto the portal_setup tool, then the Properties
tab, then select listen as the active site configuration and press
update. Then you'll click on the Import tab, then find the item called "
Various listen Settings", and press the Import Selected Steps button at
the bottom of the page.
Now you should be able to add a Mailing List from the Plone interface's
add menu.
