i was able to give a bit more love to listen and the listen buildout today.
now listen includes an extra GS profile, which will install an alternative
member lookup utility that uses membrane's member catalog. obviously this
will only work if membrane is installed.
also, the buildout now installs SecureMaildropHost, so you can replace the
default MailHost object in your site with one that is transaction safe and
asynchronous. the buildout will also generate a 'maildropctl' script that you
can use to start and stop the maildrop daemon which actually performs the
message delivery.
the SecureMaildropHost stuff is installed via the topp.recipes.securemaildrop
recipe, which is heavily based on the infrae.maildrophost recipe written by
Sylvain Viollon at Infrae.
if you've already checked out the buildout, you can get the new features
simply by doing 'svn up' in the buildout directory and then re-running
"./bin/buildout". if you want to get started fresh, please refer to the
installation instructions at:
