Subject: RE: Understanding
There was a high bridge over a creek where we swam when I was young.
There was no girl who would climb on the steel girders above the
road of the bridge and dive off into the water below. I wanted to
be the one girl who would.
I understood that you had to climb those girders and let go in order to
dive off into the water a hundred feet below. I climbed them about half way
once, but I wouldn't let go. I never jumped. I never experienced the
thrill of falling a hundred feet into the water below--to fly like a bird.
When you let go of your understanding, beliefs and fear, you have taken a
plunge
into the unknown of what will or might happen. I wanted assurance ahead of
time
that I would come up alive or not be hurt.
Had I let go, I would have been totally alone in that fall.
That is what Edward is talking about--to live in that space of not knowing.
Marilyn, the coward
```Damn Marilyn, I know of that place I went up there and jumped off all of
those years ago. I will let you know if there is water down there and if I
```come up alive and unhurt.

Should we understand and believe that there is nothing to understand or
believe?
Shouldn't we cease writing than?

In other words, there is nothing to hold on to, to believe, to understand.
Marilyn
Yes, therefore it, and you must stand alone.

. If you study Krishnamurti or Christianity
or transformation, you're setting up your filters. People get
stuck in their understanding, but that's not the answer. If
you can get to the place of understanding, jump! That's
when understanding disappears. You're then in the unknown.
