As per stacking the deck of the Inter-Beit Knesset Basketball Tournament, as
its organizer I can assure you we tried to create as much parity as possible
in the setting up of the teams limited somewhat by who wanted to play in
general and if they are indeed affiliated with the various shuls involved.

I solicited the RBS list and some of the known regular players and we only
came up with 8 guys from RBS to play in total. And BTW, they all daven
together on Shabbat. Next year we hope to have multiple teams from RBS as
well.

Maybe your time would be better spent practicing basketball than in
complaining about an uneven distribution of players.

Subject: [WS] The great pierced ears debate

Personally, I'm neither here nor there about pierced ears for little girls,
and find it more than a little amusing that davka this is the subject of the
only currently ongoing thread (of course we all know that it's not an
official ongoing thread until someone questions its Bet Shemesh relevance) -
Can someone please suggest something a little more controversial!? hmmmm
... I wonder what turns the discussion would have taken if the original note
had referred to a little boy and not a little girl ...

As long as I'm in "wondering mode" please consider the following as well:

Has any one else noticed that Colin Powell strongly resembles a leading Bet
Shemesh Mafdal activist?

Why did RBS get to stock all its best players on one team in the Tri-United
tournament, whereas the "greater Givat Sharett" area fielded five squads?
Are there really 5 times as many basketball enthusiasts in our area? Looks
like some one was stacking the deck ...

Why does everyone call it Sheinfeld or Scheinfeld when he spells it
Shainfeld? (check out the letterhead on your receipts and threatening
letters)

Just wondering ...
