I have set up BincIMAP over SSL and it works flawlessly. Unfortunately I can't say the same about Outlook Express. It keeps complaining about the certificate that cannot be checked. Of course, I'm using a self-signed certificate. I'm sure some of you run into the same problem and I'm curious how you solved this. What kind of certificate Internet Explorer will accept? The goal is to have Outlook Express not displaying that scarry (for some users) message.
