I've created two OpenSSL certificates, one for HTTPS (secure web) and one for IMAPS. When I test them with openssl s_client, they provide different results. Specifically, the web server knows how to specify the rest of the certificate chain up to the CA self-signed cert... but Binc only provides the IMAPS certificate. Did I misconfigure the 'ca file' setting? I pointed it at /usr/ssl/cacert.pem and /usr/ssl/cacert.crt (which is just the cert pulled out of the pem file), and I even tried "" like the FAQ page has, but it still doesn't work.
I can't test with a "real" client that might give more information because currently the IMAPS port is blocked by the ISP (which reminds me, about time for another phone call :)
