* OK Welcome to Binc IMAP v1.1.8 (c) Copyright 2002, 2003 Andreas Aardal Hanssen at 2003-07-14T11:13:19-0600

secondly i have used ssl in my client and netscape 7.1 seems to work ok.  However it ask me to accept a cert every time i log in. I Dont really mind but my clients are fussy  about that stuff.  here is the what happens dureing a netscape login.
@400000003f12eb811083f56c 04890 00000 [[EMAIL PROTECTED]:] Client connected to Binc IMAP from 192.168.0.2
@400000003f12eb8110b20a4c 04889 00000 [[EMAIL PROTECTED]:] Client connected to Binc IMAP from 192.168.0.2
@400000003f12eb81192cdcc4 04891 00000 [[EMAIL PROTECTED]:] User <rmvg> entered authenticated mode.
@400000003f12eb811d457dfc 04892 00000 [[EMAIL PROTECTED]:] User <testimap> entered authenticated mode.

looks good heh but when i create the mailbox test inside the inbox it complains alot and when i log of and on agian and try to access the folder i get the same message as below

@400000003f12ec542b419db4 04899 00001 [[EMAIL PROTECTED]:] warning, while reading .TEST/bincimap-cache: can't load .TEST/bincimap-cache, No such file or directory

I have tried switching to IMAPdir and then my messesages disappear and now i to trash folders that i can not get rid of or the test folder i just created

i would like to switch IMAPdir and keep the same mailbox messages it that possiable.  also what are the parameters in the conf file

Mailbox {
    depot = "IMAPdir",                           /* Use Maildir++ style
I CHANGE THIS RIGHT                                                    * depot. */

    type = "Maildir",                              /* only Maildir
DO I HAVE CHANGE THE TYPE TOO                                                   * support */

    path = "Maildir",                                         /* default path */

here is the netscape logoff lots of errors

Firstly, have you enabled SSL in your client? How did you set up Outlook?
Are you using a secure connection?

I added some information about checking one's IMAP setup in the FAQ:
http://www.bincimap.org/bincimap-faq.html#q18

The thing is that since the openssl check succeeded, I find it highly
unlikely that there are problems with the server, and rather there being
something wrong with your client's setup. Please check and verify that
your client has been set up correctly.

You should also read the FAQ entry about mailboxes and folders:

http://www.bincimap.org/bincimap-faq.html#q12

Your depot is Maildir++, so you need to create INBOX/mailboxname, that is,
you need to right-click on INBOX and create subfolders. If you want full
folder support also next to INBOX, you need to set depot="IMAPdir".

Good luck,

Andy :-)
