Binc IMAP 1.1.9 is finally here, after over a full month of
refactoring. I'm releasing it now because I want feedback from many
platforms and not just the ones I control myself. :-)

Please note that since this release represents some major changes, it
is likely that there will be bugs. I have successfully tested Binc
IMAP with these clients, but you can't be too sure:

  - Pine 4.44
  - KMail 1.5.1 on KDE 3.1.1
  - Mozilla 1.2.1 mail
  - Squirrelmail 1.4 and 1.2.1 (both work and are fast!)
  - Horde 2.0, 2.2.1 / IMP 3.0, 3.2

Tested and compiles on:

  - SuSe 8.2 / gcc 3.3
  - RedHat 9 / gcc 3.2.2
  - RedHat 8.0 / gcc 3.2
  - RedHat 7.2 / gcc 2.96
  - SunOS 5.8 / gcc 2.95.2
  - OpenBSD 3.3 / 2.95.3

Some of the changes worth noticing:

  - Internaldate and flags are kept when copying and appending.
  - Speed increase of 40% when fetching because of single-pass
parser and fully buffered I/O throughput.
  - Initial select (open) of mailbox is slower than before
because all messages must be stat'ed.
  - Cache and UIDVALIDITY files' versions have been bumped so
    everyone will resync their depositories.
  - All known issues with 1.1.8 (syslog, submailboxes) have been
    fixed.

Please post to the list with any and all problems you may have
with this release.

Good luck!

Andy :-)
