RedHat 9 requires a patched checkpassword, and patched DjB software can not be distributed in binary format from what I recall from the license. Here's the location of the src.rpm, which is distributed. It can be rebuilt using "rpmbuild --rebuild <package>". If you can't compile then you're out of luck. The binary packages available are not patched with the glibc 2.3 errno/res fix. http://www.qmail.org/moni.csi.hu/pub/glibc-2.3.1/checkpassword-0.90-2patch.src.rpm Andreas -- Andreas Aardal Hanssen | http://www.andreas.hanssen.name/gpg Author of Binc IMAP | "It is better not to do something | than to do it poorly."
