Yes, I am aware of that, but I would like my binc to get started by
svscan at boot.

I would prefer the the bincimap.conf, or if it already exists,
bincimap.conf.new. Just don't clobber the old bincimap.conf. This
behaviour shouldn't interfere with packaging. (Am I right, Gerrit?)

OK, get the hint. Yes, the real reason is that my mailserver tracks
stable, not testing or unstable. I should have been clearer. No bad
feelings toward Gerrit.
