[bincimap] French accents

Hi,

I'm a poor french speaker and, using the bincimap 1.2.3 (and 1.2.2), I'ts 
impossible to create a folder with a name contening accents, such as 
"P�gase" (excuse me for the bad display of the accent)...

Any solution ?
