Hi all, Trying to clearly understand some tables in the resource explorer. Can someone tell me if my assumption are right.
Installed Application : Comes from the Hardware inventory Installed Application (64) : Comes from the Hardware Inventory Installed Executable: Comes from the Asset Intelligence Installed Software: Comes from the Asset intelligence Question 1: Does AI collect the Installed Executable then build the Installed Software section? If this is not the case then what is the difference between the 2? Question 2: What data is collected for the Installed Executable? Not all EXE found on the machine are present in this section Question 3: What is the difference between the Installed Executable section and if I turn on Software Inventory and only Collect EXE? Question 4: I enabled the Software Inventory to only inventory EXE and not all EXE found on the machine are present in this section and the reported EXE aren't matching the EXE found in the Installed Executable section Question 5: What is the recommended scanning interval for Software inventory, Hardware Inventory, Software Metering?
