What Jason is saying is Software - Companies and Products will be unaffected, that's all AI and HINV. I'm not seeing a Software Inventory folder though (we're running 2012 SP1; not sure if that matters). The list of reports I've identified are under the Software - Companies and Products categories. I know there are some reports within that category that are obtained from the hinv though. Daniel. AI does not use software inventory and so any AI reports would also be unaffected. Combining this with the fact that it's extremely slow and holds up other inventories, I just want to disable it across the site. Before doing so, I want to confirm we're not using the data for anything. So my understanding is that it can be used for reports, queries and collection membership queries. Regarding the reports, I believe the following reports rely on the sinv data: * All inventoried products for a specific software company * All software companies * Computers with a specific product * Computers with a specific product name and version * Count all inventoried products and versions * Count inventoried products and versions for a specific product * Products on a specific computer Is this list correct; are there any I'm missing? I'm unsure if the AI reports rely on the sinv data. Any other considerations I'm neglecting? Daniel. ********************************************************************* This email, including any attachment, is confidential to the intended recipient.
