I have to say (now that our sponsor is no longer sunbelt and I don't feel bad)
that the worst software I have ever worked with was Vipre. The support was
abysmal several years ago even before GFI bought them. Imagine an application
which used a service to monitor it and restart it if it crashed (forget native
facilities a service employs for this). I am sure I don't even need to comment
on the quality of that code. The false positives I used to chase which broke
wkts's was incredible.

We migrated to Forefront with System Center and it works fine, however its not
the most thorough.

We are currently looking at alternatives now...

Subject: [NTSysADM] Vipre

Man Vipre support sure has gone downhill. Wishing I had not bought a lifetime
license. Product keep crashing my Outlook. I followed their support article,
uninstall everything, deleted all the Outlook files from my profile,
reinstalled Outlook, reinstalled Vipre and boom crash. I contact support and
they tell me to do all that again. I tell them no way, I have 6 main Office 365
email accounts and I am not going through all that again.
