If this is using a network service you could probably use netstat to find out who's connected. If it's a file based license, check the open files on whatever server is hosting it.
-- There are 10 kinds of people in the world... those who understand binary and those who don't. From: listsadmin@lists.myitforum.com [mailto:listsadmin@lists.myitforum.com] On Behalf Of Daniel Carp Sent: Tuesday, April 26, 2016 2:10 PM To: ntsys...@lists.myitforum.com Subject: [NTSysADM] ***SPAM*** Scan network for specific running process We own a fixed number of network licenses for an application (SketchUp) and routinely find all seats in use. Trimble does not offer any form of license monitoring system so I have no way to know who is using the program at any given time. Is there a way to run an on-demand scan of a network for all computers with a specific active process? Thanks in advance! -Dan Daniel M.
