Thanks. It never hurts to have a little more expertise. I've been grinding
through this and I'm fairly sure it isn't vWorkspace causing the issue, but I
mentioned just in case there was something unique that mattered.

I'm starting to wonder if the issue isn't RDP to a workstation vs RDP to a RDSH
server. MS has a history of things like that at times.

Hmm, having said that, I think I'll apply that GPO to a standalone box and see
what happens. That'll take another layer out of the picture.

One of my friends is a PM for vWorkspace. I have sent your question on to him.

Thanks

Subject: [NTSysADM] time zone redirection

Anyone doing time zone redirection in their environment? I've been trying to
get it working in our VDI environment so the folks on the West coast will stop
changing it manually and killing their network connection. We are using
vWorkspace to send them to a full desktop VM, not RDSH, so I don't know if
that's the issue or not. The GPO is getting applied, but the time display /
zone does update as expected. I even set the policy in the local machine
policy but that didn't have any effect either. Am I setting the right control?

Services/Remote Desktop Session Host/Device and Resource Redirection/Allow time
zone redirection
