Remote work is hardly an option with this account, as this is mainly backbone/core work where hardware (core switches/firewalls etc..) needs to be replaced & or reconfigured.

If a client asks, I’ll negotiate travel time to be as low as 50%, but I’ll get paid both ways. Usually, clients don’t ask. If you aren’t working, and you are driving, you have a lost opportunity cost. That doesn’t work for me. That being said, as many of my clients on this list know, I prefer to work remotely where it isn’t an issue. J That does require a strong degree of trust. Every trip thus far has been at least 50 miles EACH WAY, (100+ miles round trip),just the other day I had a 180 mile day. I'm just wondering, does this sound normal/typical, or does this strike anyone as "odd"? Any comments/feedback would be appreciated
