Subject: [mssms] System Center Config Manager tech preview and SQL server
version

Hi:
        Reguarding the new System Center Config Manager tech preview,
Microsoft’s documentation states for SQL servers:

  * Only the following versions of SQL Server are supported with this build.
There is no requirement or restriction for the cumulative update version of SQL:

  *   SQL Server 2012 R2
  *   SQL Server 2014

I can’t find any reference to an SQL 2012R2 on MSDN, and our database guy
hasn’t heard of an R2 version of 2012. Do they really mean SQL Server 2012 SP2?
Thanks.
Ryan
