Right, that all makes sense.  But, if I'm in the console, looking at Devices, 
the Client Version column is no longer going to be accurate?  It will continue 
showing 7958.1000, and not 7958.1501?  That's broken in my opinion.  It means 
that I will no longer quickly and easily see if there are problems with clients 
getting the update.

The actual version on the executable doesn't change, but if you open config 
manager applet from control panel you will see version .1501 instead of .1000. 
Same with the console, opening "about" will show .1501
