I have outgrown my old lab server. I am looking for a suitable video card for a new lab server. It does not need to be blazing fast or have record-setting stats, just something that I can use in my server to provide minimal video. Most of the time (95%+) will be spent in an RDP session anyway. This server will be Xeon-powered with all the RAM I can afford and will run Hyper-V and SCVMM for housing virtual machines on a Server 2012 R2 base OS.
Does anyone have any recommendations for an inexpensive video card that will be compatible with the Server 2012 R2 OS? Thanks in advance! Thanks, Mark A.
