You won't lose functionality. In that case - you get a combination of all
rights granted. Since the users in Sys Admins already have administrator, they
technically don't get anything new, since Administrator is non-scopable and
contains all rights by default.

For RBAC in SCOM 2012, if I have an ADS group I want to grant Operator rights,
but one of the nested groups is already given Administrator rights, will there
be any conflict or will Administrator level users continue without issue?

Example:

"IT Department" is a parent group containing "Sys Admins" and "Analysts".

"Sys Admins" already has Administrator level permissions, if I add the "IT
Department" parent group to "Operators", would the "Sys Admins" lose
Administrator functionality? Or does SCOM continue working without any
difference to them?

The above groups are just examples, but we do have a parent group that contains
numerous sub-groups and individual users that I wanted to assign for
"Operators". Just trying to confirm if I use that group it will not break any
current SCOM configuration.

Thanks.
