Greetings,

Can’t find a specific answer on this one.
If ACS has grown, beyond its limit (ok maybe some understated planning for size
or huge security events), can I move the existing content to another database
and have a brand new database. The old database I can move to some cheap file
share storage.

Of course the considerations on how to produce report of the data in the future
if I want to.

Would love to hear how others do it.

From what I can find , the following seems to be the solution:

1. Make current DB read only and create new empty database. ACS will
write to this new database after running ACS setup again. Compress the older
database and move it to another storage. If reports needs to be viewed on the
previous database, just mount it on SQL and modify reports to view content from
previous database.
