I don't think the BIOS is to blame for this model, as it evidently
imaged...somehow previously.

I'm on a short-term salvage project now, trying to help this client get imaging
up and running again. Had to build a whole new TS, new driver packages, the
whole works for all models. Now, everything is up and running save for this
one model, which just will not image. Anyone have any particular experience
with this model?

However, the symptoms are as they are for this guy, which is unfortunately also
the most prevalent model in the firm.

Subject: [mssms] Deploying to the blasted 9470m with dual disks

Hi Guys,

I'm trying to deploy my OS to the mother-of-all-pain-in-the-ass machiens, the
9470m. My hard disk configuration (totally standard, no drive letter 350 mb
boot disk, remainder of the drive 100% drive letter c:\) works fine for all
other models in my environment, including the Dell 6410,6420,6510,6520 and
random desktops AND also the 9480m.

However...this 9470m, even if I deploy with zero drivers, the system will
BSOD after the Setup Windows and ConfigMgr boot.

Have any of you guys experimented with this machine? It's the dual-disk
configuration system, one 40 GB SSD and a 500 gb Spinning disk in a cached
formation.

Thanks!

Stephen
